The Performing Arts

The performing arts offered at the Center include both musical and dramatic events, all taking place in the auditorium or outdoors. Musical events generally occur between November and April. Dramatic events take place year-round. Many performing artists, in addition to their performance, offer outreach sessions at local schools as an educational experience.

The Sanders County Arts Council has merged into The Paradise Center after several years of presenting “Tapestry” performances at various locations in Sanders County.  Moving forward, “Tapestry” events will be at the Center. This summary of former performances and performer website addresses is to honor previous efforts to “Bring the arts to everyone!”

Jazz Legacy Project
Jazz

Performing notable jazz musicians’ music, bringing back music of a bygone era, and telling the stories of jazz-greats in between is a dynamic way to be both entertained and educated about the influence cultural shifts in America had on jazz and the influence jazz had on music. This performance opens a new world for listeners.
