The Performing Arts

The performing arts offered at the Center include both musical and dramatic events, all taking place in the auditorium or outdoors. Musical events generally occur between November and April. Dramatic events take place year-round. Many performing artists, in addition to their performance, offer outreach sessions at local schools as an educational experience.

The Sanders County Arts Council has merged into The Paradise Center after several years of presenting “Tapestry” performances at various locations in Sanders County. Moving forward, “Tapestry” events will be at the Center. This summary of former performances and performer website addresses is to honor previous efforts to “Bring the arts to everyone!”

The Islanders Steel Band, formed at the University of Montana in 1992, continues to be one of the most popular musical groups on campus and regionally with their intricate percussion style.

The Paradise Players present Hate Mail, a parody. It’s like Love letters, only kinda different. Follow the hostile correspondence as it swings wildly from deep hatred to intense romance.

Join us for Thompson Falls pianist and composer Rudolf Boukal as he performs his some his original pieces as well as those from his favorite composers. He might even be joined by some friends.
